Net Zero Channel (NZC) is a not-for-profit organisation made up of volunteers from Channel Communities in the south of Tasmania. Its purpose is to assist people living in the Channel reduce their carbon footprint towards net zero emissions for the purpose of environmental sustainability.

• NZC is partnering with Rewiring Australia on a national project called Electrify My Community (EMC) to assist people in Australia to electrify their households.

• Electrifying our transport and households is the most effective way of rapidly moving towards net zero emissions.

• All responses are confidential and no person or household will be identified. Generic data on postcodes and the nature of dwellings is to inform NZC about what electrification strategies might be needed.

• This Survey will assist NZC in understanding what strategies can be used to assist the Channel region to rapidly transition into renewable technologies and electrify our community.
